An Epic Halloween Rock-N-Romp at BVO on Mud Island!

🎃 This past Halloween, Mud Island came alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and creative energy for our Rock-N-Romp event at BVO. It was a day full of Music, magic, art, and family fun that left us all buzzing with excitement!

The incredible Hope Clayburn and her talented 7-piece band brought the funk, and boy, did we groove! Their amazing set had everyone on their feet, dancing and soaking up the energy. It was an honor to host Hope, whose connection with Live From Memphis dates back nearly 15 years when we filmed a Rock-N-Romp episode for Arts Memphis TV. Time flies, but we’re definitely not waiting that long to have them back again!

The costume contest was fierce! It was a tough choice, but the audience voted for the homemade dinosaur costume for the grand prize.

The arts and crafts tables were a whirlwind of creativity, where kids eagerly dove into a variety of projects that sparked their imaginations.

🍔 Tad Persons Tire Village created a relaxing oasis for families to unwind between activities, while The Stick Em food truck, Mempops, and Memphis Made Brewing provided mouth-watering treats that fueled the fun.
