Making of the Mobile Music Machine Live From Memphis 2012 Bikesploitation 2

Created in 2011 The Mobile Music Machine was a collaborative effort, made from recycled materials, and powered by the human body! The Mobile Music Machine was developed as a way to advocate the importance of bike culture and to showcase unique local talent. The Mobile Music Machine features local musicians and artists doing their thing.

Originally conceived by Live From Memphis and our friends at Rock the Bike. Recycled bike parts and consulting were contributed by Revolutions Community Bicycle Shop, and the fabrication of the vehicle itself was done by our good friends at the National Ornamental Metal Museum. Additional fabrication provided by Yvonne Bobo Studio. The first round of musicians in 2011 were sponsored by the Downtown Memphis Commission. The Metal Museum Team: Holly Fisher, Jim Masterson, Abraham Pardee and Logan Hirsh.
